The Green Marmot Capsule Hotel is actually quite perfect and probably the only affordable stay in all of Zurich. The price is very cheap, less than 100 Francs.

The design is very sleek, and the place is sparkling clean. You also get a locker to store your luggage and personal belongings safely.

You have to check in at a reception desk. The process is usually very quick. The staff are very nice and assist with any inquiries.

You will get a small pod or capsule which serves as your personal space for sleeping and relaxing. 

However, the capsule ensures privacy with curtains, as there are no doors in the capsule.

But remember, you can only sleep or sit inside the capsule.

If you have a baby with a stroller, you can take your stroller outside your capsule.

They also have a female section, which is great for solo female travelers.

Types Of Capsules

There are two types of capsules in the Green Marmot Capsule Hotel. The single-bed ones are 212 cm in length, 111 cm in width, and 109 cm in height.

And the double-bed ones are 212 cm in length, 179 cm in width, and 109 cm in height.

Every capsule has a super comfortable mattress, pillows, and bedding.

They also provide a reading light, a power outlet, fast Wi-Fi, a folding table, and a mirror in each capsule.

Common Areas

The bathrooms and showers are shared, but they maintain high standards of cleanliness.

There are separate areas provided for men and women, with multiple stalls and shower units to accommodate peak times.

They provide free towels for showering.

They also have a nice common terrace where you can walk out and enjoy a beautiful view of the Lemmat.

Also, the common areas provide opportunities to meet and interact with fellow travelers.
