This is a slightly lower price point but still maintains a mid-upscale status. This five-star hotel is an epitome of elegance and a perfect gateway for relaxation and Swiss hospitality.

Situated just steps away from the Interlaken Ost station and at the footsteps of the Harderbahn, it provides easy access to both stations for exploring.

The hotel offers a variety of room options from standard rooms to luxurious suites, each providing maximum comfort.

Many rooms have balconies with nice views of the Aare River, the Swiss Alps, and the hotel’s beautiful gardens.

So, if you don’t want to necessarily go all out and explore as much as the Victoria Hotel, then the Lindner Hotel is for you.

Hotel Alpenruh

Hotel Alpenruh is located at the top of the Lauterbrunnen Valley in the very cute village of Murren.

Hotel Alpenruh is affiliated with the Schilthorn Bahn, offering attractive package deals including both accommodation and tickets to Schilthorn.

This is a great option if you want to visit the Schilthorn because it’s not fully covered by any passes, making it your best way to access it at a discount.

The Hotel Alpenruh is situated right next to the Murren gondola station.

When you are in this hotel, you feel like it is a traditional Swiss hotel because of the wood-made building.

Hotel Royal St. Georges is also located in Interlaken and just a 3-minute walk from Lindner Grand Hotel.

This four-star hotel is part of the MGallery hotel collection.

I really love this hotel’s interior design. Featuring a blend of classic and modern décor, high-quality furnishings, and luxurious facilities.

The hotel typically includes on-site dining options, such as a restaurant serving Swiss and international cuisine.

You can easily explore local attractions and do activities like hiking.

So, this hotel is another one that you have to consider when you are in Interlaken.

Salzano Hotel

If you want the convenience of being in the Interlaken area but desire a more authentic mountain-style chalet experience, the Salzano Hotel is perfect.

This beautiful hotel is just about 10 minutes by bus from Interlaken Ost station.

With that little bit of distance, you feel like you’re really in an authentic mountain kind of village.

The hotel has an excellent restaurant that is highly rated and the best in the region for me.

You really should travel there to just have a meal.

Additionally, it has a beautiful spa, sauna, and sometimes outdoor hot tubs and pools.

So, it is just being a little bit more removed from Interlaken. 

I think the price of the hotel is quite a bit more reasonable for what you’re getting, along with quality service and a mountain village ambiance.

If you are looking for more value and to feel like you’re in a little bit more mountain village feeling then this is a great accommodation.

The Hotel Kreuz & Post is located in Grindelwald near the train station, which offers you easy access to various attractions in the region.

The Hotel Kreuz & Post originally served as a post office. Over time, it transitioned into a hotel while maintaining its historical charm.

The hotel’s history as a post office is reflected in its name and its longstanding tradition of welcoming guests.

This family-run hotel is very nice and chic, and it has a great restaurant.

Because it is close to the train station, you can arrive here just in minutes, check-in, drop your bags, and go to Grindelwald First to do some exciting activities.

It also has a nice spa, and you’ll enjoy just staying there.

Also, you have amazing views of the Eiger mountain from the hotel.

Maya Caprice Boutique Hotel

Lots of travelers want to stay in Wengen, and it has more upscale lodging options than quite a few of the other areas in this valley.

Maya Caprice Boutique Hotel is my recommendation for staying in Wengen. I love this hotel; it is very beautiful, and the owner is so kind.

The hotel is located in the perfect place because you are directly across the street from the train station and find this hotel. So, that’s one great option.

It had a beautiful spa and hot tubs.

One thing that is interesting about this hotel’s restaurant is that every night the menu changes. So, you can enjoy and eat different foods every night.

Also, the views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley from this hotel are spectacular. 

The hotel actually found the rooms to be pretty, particularly spacious for Switzerland.

Hotel Staubbach

Hotel Staubbach is a charming hotel in Lauterbrunnen and is known for its stunning waterfall views.

If you want views of the famous Staubbach Falls, this one has a lot of rooms that have an amazing view of the waterfall. That’s what the hotel’s named after.

Also, the family-run hotel has beautiful terraces with incredible views. This is a much more moderately priced hotel.

It has a place where you can have breakfast but don’t have astronomic options.

Hotel Belvedere

Hotel Belvedere is also located in Grindelwald and is a family-run establishment since 1904.

The hotel is just behind the train station, so you feel a little bit remote. It’s extremely quiet, but in 5 minutes, you’re on the main street in Grindelwald.

The rooms are modern and well-done, from cozy single rooms to spacious suites.

Many rooms’ balconies give you stunning views of the Eiger mountain and Grindelwald village.

The hotel also has a beautiful spa. I think it’s probably the best one in Grindelwald.

The Hotel Belvedere has a beautiful huge indoor pool, several different saunas, and a nice outdoor hot tub which is open all year.

It also has a great restaurant and something else that’s really fun; it has a few different decommissioned gondolas outside on its terrace where you can enjoy a fondue dinner.

So, this is definitely a little bit more expensive option, but if you have the budget and you’re looking to splurge a little bit more, then this is a nice recommendation in the area.

Hotel Silberhorn is indeed a renowned hotel located in Lauterbrunnen. The hotel features traditional Swiss chalet-style architecture.

This hotel is well-known for its breathtaking views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, including the famous Staubbach Falls.

If you want to stay in Lauterbrunnen and want the luxury experience, this hotel is the only one that you’ll have in the village.

Also, you’ll have a bit more moderate prices with some rooms that are convenient but without the thrills.

This hotel has some cool rooms with even hot tubs.

Also, it is right next to the train station. So, very easy to access when you arrive on the train.
